Almond Banana Smoothie

This smoothie is simple, tasty and vegan to boot! :-)


Ingredients

Approx 5 cups Almond milk

2 Bananas sliced (its good with a few strawberries added in too)

1-2 Tsp Alcohol free vanilla essence

3-4 TBSP maple syrup or to taste


Method

Blend together til smooth and creamy.
If you dont have almond milk ready made, or cant make your own, you can roast almonds and grind them finely - I prefer to raost for better flavor. BTW this works well with cashews and other nuts too! :-) Add the ground nuts to the mix instead of almond milk and it will taste great too. Chill in fridge til ready to serve.
